Our Investment Team
Capt. Kaizad Doctor is a Managing Director at Dynamis Capital, having previously served as Senior Vice President at Oaktree Capital. He brings a wealth of experience, having held roles as Director of Modelling and Analytics at MSI and VV. Kaizad’s career also includes academic contributions as a Lecturer and Research Assistant at Cass Business School. His maritime background includes working as a Master Mariner with Tolani Shipping, Mitsui OSK Lines, and ExxonMobil. Kaizad holds a Ph.D. and M.Res in Finance and Econometrics, an M.Sc. in Shipping Trade from Cass Business School, and an M.Sc. in Nautical Science.
Fredrik Ulstein is currently a Managing Director at Dynamis Capital. Prior to joining Dynamis Capital, Fredrik spent 6 years at Oaktree Capital Management, where he last served as Senior Vice President in the European Principal Group. Prior to joining Oaktree, Fredrik worked as a Senior Account Manager at Maritime & Merchant Bank in Oslo. Earlier in his career, Fredrik was a Credit Analyst at DNB Bank in Oslo. He has also served as Chairman of listed OSV-company Golden Energy Offshore Services ASA. Fredrik earned his M.S. in Global Finance from Thunderbird School of Management and his B.S. from Arizona State University.
